Hand-wound Dual-Mag pickups with alnico V magnets in the bass and chamfered alnico II magnets in the treble produce a balanced, consistent tone while improving string definition. Classic #2 string tuning with treble bleed to preserve tone, master volume control, #1 tone (neck and mid-body pickup), #2 tone (bridge) with treble bleed (to preserve mids and reduce highs without adding bass).
