About This Product

The Soleá Line features two groups of four pre-tuned metal micro-coil cajon strings, stretched across the inside of the playing surface for a clear string effect. These snare strings are hand-wound in the style of cajon master José "Pepote" Hernández Diaz. Inside the Soleá Line cajon is a special bass reflex system that enhances low-end notes for deeper bass. Rounded edges and front thumb slots, the resonant drums optimize the sound and playing experience. The 12mm thick 9-ply Baltic Birch wood resonator delivers a full, powerful tone with warmth and clarity.
