In 2018, Fender's Parallel Universe Collection merged the designs of its most iconic guitar and bass models into one to create a new instrument that moves the heart. Some of the most notable names include the Strat-Tele Hybrid, Whiteguard Strat, and ’51 Telecaster PJ Bass. Continuing that concept, Fender now brings you the Alternate Reality Series.

Unveiled at the 2019 NAMM Show, this limited-edition model blends multiple Fender designs into one instrument. Classic Fender tone meets beautiful classic looks in the Sixty-Six, a progressive statement with a reduced-boost Jazz Bass-inspired offset ash body. The HSS pickup layout, with a Player Series humbucker in the bridge position, is complemented by a pair of Player Series Tele single-coils in the center and neck, giving the instrument a versatile sound, while a vintage-style synchronized 6-saddle adds expressiveness. It’s sure to make a big impression.
