The shorter 24-inch scale makes it easier to play chords and minimizes finger strain and fatigue after hours of practice, while the compact body is reduced to 94% of the standard size, and the special body design reduces the weight of the guitar. This results in excellent sensitivity. The bright tone of the Fender Stratocaster® is conveyed and highlighted by the all-new Junior Collection Modified Single Coil Stratocaster® pickups. String stability is also ensured by a vintage tuner and a 2-way tremolo bridge with a vintage saddle.
