The Rei Stratocaster® R246 was developed based on Rei’s long-time favourite Stratocaster, which features the neck from her beloved Lead II and various custom modifications.
Reproducing the grip of the Lead II neck that Rei describes as the most natural fit for her hands, the design boldly extends it to 24 frets while slightly reducing the body size. This allows for seamless playability up to the 24th fret without compromising the iconic Stratocaster silhouette.
Other features include a two-point tremolo bridge paired with Graph Tech saddles for enhanced tuning stability, and the Vintage Noiseless™ pickups that define the guitar’s core sound.
The body is finished in Rei Blu, a colour inspired by the cover of her debut album. Additional signature details include her autograph on the back of the headstock and a specially designed “R246” logo, making this a truly personal and distinctive instrument.
