he Limited Shigeru Suzuki Stratocaster is a Japan-made signature model faithfully recreating the 1962 Stratocaster long cherished by influential Japanese guitarist Shigeru Suzuki, known for his work with Happy End and his acclaimed solo album BAND WAGON. Finished in his trademark Fiesta Red with a Desert Sand undercoat and topped with a thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish, it is designed to develop natural character over time. The specially developed single-coil pickups feature approximately 20% more windings to deliver the fuller low-end response requested by Suzuki, complemented by 500kΩ pots and a vintage SPRAGUE “BLACK BEAUTY” capacitor. The neck profile is carefully based on Suzuki’s original instrument for authentic playability, while selected rosewood is used for the fingerboard and alder is chosen to closely match the weight of his original guitar. As a limited edition model, it includes a custom neck plate engraved with Suzuki’s signature and serial number, along with a certificate of authenticity.
