About This Product

S.L.P. "Maple Pancake" Duo Snare Drum is a unique additional snare. It features shallower 4" depth, 5mm/6 ply Maple shell, EVANS® EMAD Drumhead on its batter side and beautiful Maple Syrup finish. Combining the larger diameter of 16 inches and EVANS® EMAD Drumhead provides a fat sound with moderately cut overtones. Equipped with floor tom legs and brackets, this snare is usually put at the floor tom position or next to the hi-hat stands. These unique setups allow drummers to explore ideas and create new patterns and fills they might never have considered with traditional components.
