The Tama 6x14 Starphonic Bubinga features a 9-ply shell that's thinner than the standard Starclassic Bubinga, and features a beautiful matte Cordia finish. This snare produces a deep, warm, resonant low end with plenty of tonal projection. The drum features Tama's Freedom scalloped and grooved rims, allowing you to change snare heads without loosening the head tension screw. The snare response is snappy and responsive, thanks to Tama's Line Drive tension lock and super-sensitive high-carbon strings.
