• By loosening the tension rods, you can bend the claw back and away from the Grooved Hoop. This quick release system provides a simple, quick drum head replacement without having to remove all the tension rods from the lugs.
• STARPHONIC claw hooks have a rubber block inside to protect the tension bolts from loosening during play. Once the tension bolts are tightened, the claw hook is pressed towards the ring. This also presses the rubber block inside the claw hook and adds pressure to the tension rod inside.
• For a sharper, more responsive sound, TAMA redesigned the snappy snare using new materials, changing the shape of the plate and the type of snare coil. The result is the new “Super Sensitive Hi-Carbon Snappy Snare” that fits more closely to the side head of the snare, demonstrating greater sensitivity and producing a brighter, crisper sound.
• To prevent the snappy snare from loosening, TAMA has incorporated a ratchet system into the strainer's tension adjustment mechanism. Like a fine-actuated adjustment tool, it achieves re-tension at high pressures, even at extreme settings.
• Detachable Strainer Butt allows you to change the side head of the snare drum, but keep the snare string tension in its original state.
• STARPHONIC's strainer uses a "Linear-Drive" system designed by us to enhance the control of the arm adjustment level and give more precise control of strainer movement.
