About This Product

The original iRig HD is a high-definition digital guitar interface for iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, and Mac which delivers a pure high-quality digital input signal in any situation through its 24-bit A/D ultra-transparent converter that accurately preserves the nuances of your instrument. This means you can rock out on your iPhone, iPad, iPad mini, or Mac laptop or desktop computer with studio quality sound. Now the iRig2 expands on all the features of the IRig with powerful additional features. A 1/4" amp output jack integrates the iRig HD 2 seamlessly into your live rig. An FX/thru switch toggles between two operation modes. The FX setting processes and feeds your signal to your amp without the need for an adapter. The thru mode sends an unprocessed signal, so you can use your mobile device as a tuner or recorder.
