Fender Custom Shop 70th Anniversary 1954 Stratocaster Relic Guitar, Wide-Fade 2-Color Sunburst

Celebrating 70 Years of the Stratocaster® - 70 platinum years of the world's finest electric guitar - Fender Custom Shop introduces the Limited Edition 70th Anniversary 1954 Stratocaster®. The 2-piece ash body (with treble offset) resonates with soaring highs, sweet midrange and tight lows, finished in a gorgeous Wide Fade Two-Color Sunburst lacquer and treated by the Custom Shop to represent various levels of wear, such as Time Capsule, NOS, Deluxe Closet Classic, Relic®, Journeyman Relic®, Heavy Relic® and Super Heavy Relic®.

The special 70th Anniversary Soft “V” one-piece quartersawn maple neck is inspired by the beautiful Strat® neck of July 1954. The vintage compound radius fingerboard (7.25” - 9.5”) features 21 medium vintage frets (47095) and a 1.625” bone nut. Three hand-wound Custom Shop ’54 Strat® pickups deliver classic Strat® voice and crystal-clear highs through the classic ’54 Strat® wire-wound system and 5-way switch.

Premium details and early Strat® features include a white pickguard, serialized back plate, 1954-style ABS white pickup covers and knobs, Custom Shop Vintage Synchronized bridge system, vintage tuners, disc string tree, special 70th Anniversary Stratocaster® neck plate, deluxe embroidered case, special “case candy” and Certificate of Authenticity.
