Owning a classic Fender® Stratocaster® means you own player-centric custom features, hand-selected woods, and hand-wound pickups, an American Custom Stratocaster. The two-piece select alder body features deep contours, a beveled neck joint, and NOS nitrocellulose lacquer finish. All controls and pickup routing are shielded and grounded to reduce electromagnetic interference. The neck is a one-piece 3A birdseye maple “soft V” ’54 profile, with a flexible neck adjuster and fine-tuned headstock, a 9.5”-12” hybrid-arch fingerboard with abalone dots, and 22 medium jumbo frets. Hand-wound Dual-Mag pickups with alnico V magnets in the bass and chamfered alnico II magnets in the treble produce a balanced, consistent tone while improving string definition. Classic #2 string tuning with treble bleed to preserve tone, master volume control, #1 tone (neck and mid-body pickup), #2 tone (bridge) with treble bleed (to preserve mids and reduce highs without adding bass). Other details include 3-ply parchment pickguard, strap pin, Sperzel® tuners with pearl buttons, bone nut, and American Standard String Tree. Includes premium hardcase, strap, and COA.
