MEINL Cymbals B20MR-S 20inch Byzance Traditional Medium Sizzle Ride Cymbal

Founded in 1951 by Roland Meinl and originally manufacturing wind instruments, the first MEINL cymbals were introduced in 1952 and were cut from large sheets of metal, forged, turned and drilled by hand by Roland Meinl himself, who then personally transported them on his bicycle to the railway station for shipping. MEINL has gone from such humble beginnings to become the world leader in percussion instruments.

Byzance Traditional Series cymbals are hand-formed by MEINL artisans in Türkiye using B20 brass with a traditional finish. They have outstanding clarity and punch in the mid to high range. The B20MR-S combines the sizzle sound with the outstanding sonic attributes of Medium Ride to create a shimmering sound with extremely long sustain.
