Natal was founded in 1958 by renowned British percussionist Alan Sharp, who was unable to find the exact instruments he wanted to play and decided to take individual parts and build them himself. His Afro-Cuban bongos were a prime example of quality and orders poured in from then on, leading to the birth of Natal Percussion in 1965. Continuing Alan’s legacy, the Natal design team has created a wide range of drums, snare-drums and hardware. Each part and component is designed down to the smallest detail. Natal is committed to producing drums and hardware to the highest quality standards. Since 2010, Natal has been part of the world-renowned Marshall family.

Featuring a beautifully handcrafted wood and leather shell, fitted with a steel “Hoop Comfort” rim for a beautiful tone, the Natal timbales come in pairs of 10” & 12”, 12” & 13” or 13” & 14”. Part of the Spirit Series, they are available in a variety of finishes including brass, bronze and black nickel. All pairs come with a sturdy stand.
