The Squier 40th Anniversary Collection celebrates 40 years of Fender's entry-level guitars with special Gold Edition and Vintage Edition versions of the Telecaster®, Stratocaster®, Jazzmaster®, Precision Bass® and Jazz Bass®.

The Squier® 40th Anniversary Jazz Bass®, Gold Edition is a high-end, feature-rich upgrade for the Squier enthusiast. With striking gold-plated hardware, a gold-anodized aluminum pickguard, a sturdy Indian laurel fingerboard, block pearloid inlays, and a commemorative logo-engraved neck plate in a glossy finish, this J Bass® is ready to shine in the spotlight. Comfort-oriented refinements include a comfortable, slim “C”-shaped neck with easy-to-grasp fingerboard, vintage-style tuning machines, a 4-saddle bridge with a reliable barrel saddle, and Fender-designed single-coil pickups with alnico 5 magnets for the familiar J Bass tone.
