Gretsch G4164SS 6.5x14inch Solid Steel Snare Drum

The "That Great Gretsch Sound" has been a favorite of drummers for over 130 years. The G-4000 Series snare drums are based on the Classic 4160 Metal Series snare drums, but the new set has a wider tonal range, more finishes, and a steel shell. All snare drums in the series feature Lightning throw-off mechanisms, die-cast top and bottom rims, knurled center-patterned Snap-Ins, classic Gretsch Drop G octagonal emblems, two Permaone-coated heads, and 42-string snare strings (24 strings on a 13-inch drum).
