Gretsch GAS0514-VC 5x14inch USA Signature Series Vinnie Colaiuita Signature Snare Drum, Cobalt Blue

Legendary Gretsch artist Vinnie Colaiuta was determined to find a snare drum that would be versatile enough to play on stage and in the studio. Vinnie worked closely with Gretsch craftsmen at the Gretsch USA Factory in Ridgeland, South Carolina to create a snare drum that had all the tonal characteristics Vinnie wanted.

Vinnie’s main snare is 5” x 14”, with more dynamic range, incredible body and remarkable sensitivity. The side is 4” x 12” with bigger sound when hitting rim shots. The drums are finished in a special Cobalt Blue color, which looks perfect in the Gretsch Custom setup used on the Sting/Peter Gabriel “Rock, Paper, Scissors” World Tour.

This snare drum features a Gretsch USA 6-ply North American Maple Gum shell, Silver Sealer interior, 4mm die-cast rim and Vinnie Colaiuta Signature Gretsch badge.
